About UNI SA

University of South Australia (UniSA) was established in 1991 but its foundations date back to the latter half of the 19th century. As the largest university in South Australia, it is home to approximately 32,000 students. UniSA offers degree programs across a wide range of subjects including business, law, education, arts and social sciences, health sciences, information technology, engineering and the environment.

2019 will be a joint conference with the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), hosted by the University of South Australia.

As Australia’s University of Enterprise, UniSA’s culture of innovation is anchored around global and national links to academic, research and industry partners. From a teaching point of view, UniSA is building a culture of innovation, through which its academic staff will be empowered to draw on digital innovations to advance their teaching practices, as our educators of the future. From a research point of view, UniSA contributes to the development, synthesis and implementation of new knowledge across eight key research themes namely an age friendly world, transforming industries, scarce resources, cancer, healthy futures and transforming societies.

We are delighted to partner with G-I-N and the Joanna Briggs Institute in delivering this unique and premier event in 2019, which will assist in prompting best practice and improving the quality and safety of health care.  We look forward to seeing you in Adelaide for #GINJBI2019.
