G-I-N Conference 2016
Dear Friends, Fellow G-I-N Members and Colleagues,
The theme of this year’s Guidelines International Network (G-I-N) conference is “Individualised guidelines and clinical performance measurement in an era of personalised medicine.” G-I-N’s mission is to lead, strengthen and support collaboration and research within the guideline community, and the annual conference provides an excellent opportunity for networking, learning, and sharing information. We welcome all stakeholders, from public and health care providers to policy makers and insurers, to guideline developers, implementers, and researchers, performance measures developers and implementers, and anyone else with a vested interest in developing, promoting, adapting, or implementing guidelines and performance measures.
The American College of Physicians, the ECRI Institute, and Penn Medicine, together with G-I-N, are organising the conference in Philadelphia, USA. Philadelphia is a historical and cultural hub in the USA, offering a plethora of museums and other attractions, world class restaurants, music, theatre, and more. The city is conveniently located with direct flights from Asia and Europe.
The University of Pennsylvania, the birthplace of American Medicine will serve as the venue for the conference proceedings. The gala networking dinner will be hosted at the National Constitution Center in center city Philadelphia.
Whether you will be an attendee or a presenter, G-I-N2016 will provide a venue where you will learn about the latest and greatest about guidelines, learn from each other, utilise this as an opportunity for networking, and finally make new contacts and friends. We hope to see you in Philadelphia this fall for another informative, productive, and fun G-I-N conference.
On behalf of the G-I-N Board of Trustees, the G-I-N 2016 Conference Organising Committee and the G-I-N 2016 Conference Scientific Committee.
